Ladies, it has begun - THE SELFRIDGES SALE

Selfridges have kicked off their sale today on line and in store.  This is the perfect place to get the bag that you have been looking for, shoes that you have had your eye on for months and lots of other lovely things.  They have slashed the prices of Marc Jacobs bags, Longchamp, Mulberry and many, many more.

Selfridges is one of the oldest department stores in London.  I am sure most of you where hooked like I was to the recent TV series called Mr Selfridge.

In 1906, Selfridge travelled to the United Kingdom on holiday with his wife. Unimpressed with the quality of British retailers, he noticed that the large stores in London had not adopted the latest selling ideas that were being used in the United States. Selfridge decided to invest £400,000 in building his own department store in what was then the unfashionable western end of Oxford Street. The new store opened to the public on 15 March 1909, setting new standards for the retailing business.
