Over three consecutive nights, 11th – 13th March 2012, a unique one-off collaboration will take place at London’s 1 Lombard Street restaurant in partnership with American Express.
Three pairings of top British and International female chefs will present a five course dinner, accompanied by different wines (all made by women), in a delicious celebration of women’s achievements in the world of fine dining.
The brainchild of the UK’s top female chef Angela Hartnett and food and wine writer Fiona Sims, the event kicks off with Harnett and top New York chef Gabrielle Hamilton of Prune restaurant, followed the next night by Brazil’s number one female chef, Mani’s Helena Rizzo, with the holder of 3 Michelin stars, Clare Smyth, of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, and finally Margot Janse of Le Quartier Français, voted number 1 restaurant in South Africa, who will cook alongside London’s groundbreaking Anna Hansen of The Modern Pantry.
