An Evening with Bompas & Parr at The Mount Street Deli

Monday 10 October at 6pm.

Bompas & Parr have been named by The Independent as one of "the 15 people who will define the future of arts in Britain". They have collaborated with Lord Foster and Heston Blumenthal to design jellies, flooded a Grade I listed building with four tonnes of alcoholic punch that visitors boated across before drinking, created a breathable cloud of gin and tonic and built a chocolate waterfall.

Frieze Late Nights at Rivington

Art powerhouse Frieze returns to Regent’s Park from 13-16 October.

170 galleries from across the globe will be presenting the best contemporary art, including Hauser & Wirth, Timothy Taylor, Gagosian and White Cube. Rivington Grill Shoreditch has long had a close relationship with its neighbouring Hoxton galleries and boasts a site-specific neon by Tracey Emin as well as a collection of works from Carl Freedman Gallery.

From 13-15 October Rivington Shoreditch will be open until 3am for late night drinks and bar snacks for gallerists, artists and anyone who’s been to Frieze. Just mention Frieze on arrival.

The Magnets at Sheekey’s Speakeasy

Sunday, 2 October, 7pm.

Sheekey’s Speakeasies have become the place to be on the first Sunday evening of each month. Great performances, a classic menu of J Sheekey’s Oyster Bar favourites and a Ketel One Twinkle cocktail on the house to get the night off to the right start.

In October, Speakeasy curator Hardeep Singh Kohli brings us a capella and beat box supremos, The Magnets. Fresh from their shows at the Edinburgh festival, The Magnets will be bringing their take on pop classics to J Sheekey Oyster Bar.

Dinner Party Dishes from The Mount Street Deli

Got friends coming over, but stuck for what to cook? The Mount Street Deli has just launched its range of dinner party dishes, perfect for fuss-free entertaining. The dishes include favourites from the Deli’s sister restaurants, such as J Sheekey fish pie and The Ivy shepherd’s pie.

The dishes, which feed six, cost £55 and come in a white oven-proof dish. Delivery is free within W1 and St James’s or you can collect them in person from the Deli.

Sausage Mondays at Rivington Greenwich

Monday, 3 October.

Rivington Grill Greenwich will be open for dinner on Monday evenings. To start the week with a bang(er), Sausage Mondays will feature a special menu of gourmet sausages from chef, butcher and Rivington “Local Legend” Martin Heap. The menu will include black pudding and Penny Royal sausages, Cambridge sausages with kale and gentleman’s relish and toad-in-the-hole and onion gravy (made with caramelized onion sausages).

An à la carte menu of Rivington classics will also be available including favourites like Barnsley chop with bubble & squeak and fish and chips.
