Hays / The Times PA of the Year

Yesterday was a great day as I had been invited to attend the Hays/The Times PA of the Year Awards held at Flemings Mayfair yesterday and it was a lovely afternoon.

There were a few nervous people in the room yesterday but it was crammed with PA talent and I felt very honoured to be there.

In association with The Times, Hays set about searching for the PA of the Year last year and entries closed in March this year. The best news is that there has been a 60% increase on applications year on year, further proof that PAs are becoming even more recognised as key people in their organisations.

Michelle Mone OBE (Ultimo Bras) was there to present the awards and she gave a brilliant speech which relaxed everyone and then the moment arrived the results!

The winner was.........

Loisa James from Jamie Oliver Ltd

The runner ups were:

Christopher Juliff - NHS

Zara Dyer - Liverpool Football Club

It is a huge achievement for all of the above and something that I know that they will be very proud of. Congratulations from all of us at Miss Jones.

A final surprise at the end of the day was that Anya Hindmarch kindly donated beautiful prizes to all the finalists. There is something about receiving that beautiful black and white bag that gets us all excited.
